MONTE GUARDIA RING 04112023

Suggestive excursion to Anello del Monte Guardia (RM).

We will start near the Orsini Nymphaeum and Horace’s villa to climb into the woods along a stream and admire some small waterfalls. We will arrive on a beautiful clearing with an old abandoned farmhouse and we will proceed until we reach the summit with a large cross. We will then descend on the opposite ridge until we reach Fonte Campitello with a monumental fountain and a view of Monte Gennaro. We will continue downhill encountering clearings and wild gorges until we encounter the surprise of our trip.
